Beary Patch

This darling quilt was made by Eileen for her great niece.  The pattern is called Beary Patch as was originally published in Quiltmaker magazine, but now is available on the Quilting Daily website.

Eileen requested custom quilting on this one and specifically crosshatching in the background and my 3 and E freehand design for the fur. I was happy to oblige with those ideas and added some curved lines in the cream pickets of the outer border, and stitched in the ditch along the brown pickets.  Loops in the pink inner border and a loopy design in the outer corners completed the plan.

Eileen had the perfect backing tucked away waiting for just the right project!
