Shylyte made this wonderful batik top in a gorgeous purple palette. The pattern is called "Chianti" and is from Villa Rosa Designs.
Shylyte selected the Daisy Bounce pantograph with Quilter's Dream Puff Batting. I suggested a lovely purple Magnifico thread #2123 called February that is fabulous on batiks.
I have the first two blocks done in the Manitoba Prairie Quilter's applique block of the month. I am about 4 months behind but am motivated to get caught up. Not my normal type of project but I do like participating when quilters make the effort to organize something, and it is good to be pushed out of my comfort zone now and again.
