Video Game Scrap Patch

Julie made this fantastic quilt for her grandson in a video game theme.  Julie started with the Scrap Patch pattern from the Quilter's Cache (10" block)  The suggested setting had straight set blocks with no sashing.  Julie said it looked totally chaotic and she hated it.  But by putting the blocks on point and adding the black sashing it was totally transformed.

Julie selected the Cool Beans pantograph and a vibrant green flannel backing.  I love how bold and fun it is.

Gummies

Megan made this great quilt as a store sample for Keystone Modern Creative.  The pattern is called Gummies and is from Villa Rosa Designs.

Megan chose the new Tim Holtz -Abandoned 2 farbic line and a lovely neutral tan Fireside backing fabric.  The Cool Beans pantograph complemented the modern graphic feel perfectly.

2 For Madeline

Madeline sent two lovely baby quilts for some longarm quilting.  First up is the Ebb and Flow quilt pattern by Penelope Handmade.

Madeline chose the Cool Beans pantograph for a nice modern vibe and used one of the wide backs that I keep in stock.

The second quilt is this super sweet Love Letters quilt.  The pattern is from Bre T quilt designs.

The backing fabric is just perfect with the tiny pink hearts. Hearts on hearts was the order of the day as Madeline selected the Pieces of My Heart pantograph.

Knitted Stars

This lovely pair of Knitted Star quilts were made by best quilting buddies Amy and Reneta. (They even sent me one long piece of backing to use for both tops.)

The pattern is from Lo and Behold Stitchery.  Reneta and Amy selected different pantographs with different feels, but I think they both look great.  I always say there is never just one right way to quilt a quilt!

First up is Amy's version.  She selected the Breath of the Gods pantograph and the swirls look like snow in winter to me.

Reneta requested a more geometric option and settles on the Cool Beans pantograph.  Totally different but a great option too!

Home Quarter - City Lights

Loraine made this King Size version of the Home Quarter pattern from Highway 10 Designs.  The fabric collection that she used is call City Lights from Northcott.  The colour palette is just so pleasing.

Loraine selected a pantograph that I just added to my collection called Cool Beans.

With Fireside backing fabric this quilt is extra cozy and quite heavy because of its size!
