The bright backing was a great addition to the project.
Next up is a quilted shawl that Patrice was making as a gift for a friend. She added a gorgeous purple flannel for the backing to make it extra cozy. The small scale Soho pantograph added some nice movement to this project.
Patrice dug into her scraps for the next two quilts. First up is the Dots and Dashes quilt and you can find the free tutorial for this one here,
Patrice chose the larger scale Soho pantograph and the curves work well against all the squares in the pattern.
Using up fun fabrics from her stash to piece the backing too.
Patrice said this was one of her favorite scrappy quilts that she has ever made. She enjoyed digging in her stash and finding coordinating fabrics to piece the blocks. Once again the Soho pantograph was a great fit.
And again, some creative piecing to make some coordinating fabric work for the backing.
