Welcome to Friendly Manitoba! I am so excited to be one of today's hosts for Blogathon Canada. Heather over at Peace.Love.Quilt is the other host for today and she will be introducing you to some great bloggers from Saskatchewan so be sure to visit her as well.
My name is Lori and I currently call Dauphin, Manitoba - the City of Sunshine home. I grew up in Winnipeg and since getting married I have spent time out west in Strathmore, Alberta (just east of Calgary) and then way up north in High Level, Alberta, then pretty far north Flin Flon, Manitoba before we landed here in Dauphin.
I wear a few different hats - mom to two lovely girls, wife to a dedicated Mountie, part time office administrator at our local funeral home, long arm quilter, pattern designer and I love it all!
Here at the Night Owl Quilting Blog you will most often see all the lovely quilts I work on for my clients like these. I do love this job! (If you want to see more of any of these quilts just click on the picture and it will take you back to the original post.)
Enough about me! Here are the other blogs from Manitoba that I hope you will take the time to visit:

ReplyDeleteYahoo, a great day. Great post, Lori. I love the bundle you picked for your giveaway. I am giddy over the blogs you suggested. A few I follow already and I believe the guild's blog may get a few comments this month. Thanks for including it. As for how many places I have lived, it is 6, all in Manitoba. My childhood was spent in southern Manitoba followed by three homes in more northerly Manitoba. One of which was Duck Bay. Not very northern as far as I am concerned but to other Manitobans I might as well have been living in the Arctic. Strange how north describes a variety different areas in each province. Enjoy your day. Thanks for participating in the Sew Sisters Blog Hop and for offering a fabulous giveaway.
