Two Canadian themed quilts came through my studio this month. This first was made by Donna for her brother who lives in Thailand. The pattern is called Glorious and Free by the Quilter on Fire.
All the fabrics that Donna used are from the Oh Canada collections from Northcott. I really love the combinations she used. The Bora Bora pantograph was a lovely choice. I see leaves gently blowing in the wind.
The second quilt was made by Myrna for an exchange student that is staying with a family member. All the fabrics are also form the Northcott Oh Canada collections.
We decided to use the Maple Syrup pantograph and add a few more maple leaves in the mix. This will be a wonderful keepsake of their time in Canada.
