Bluey!

This was a really fun quilt for me to make for someone very special.  My grandson Finn turned 2 in January and when I spotted these paper pieced blocks I knew they would be perfect for him.  These characters are from the very popular Australian cartoon called Bluey. It is a great watch for adults and children alike.

The free block patterns were designed by JessieSharon Craft from Craft Towards Joy and are available at Fandom in Stitches.   If you are a proficient foundation paper piecer (and love it) these 15" blocks are very doable, but there are many, many sections to join!

The layout that I came up with stemmed from seeing what fabrics I had left in what amounts to make it work as I didn't have time to order anything extra.  I think it came together well and is nice and cheery.

I put some wonderful Northcott Flannel on the back to make it extra cozy and quilted it with the Fluffy pantograph.
