When my sister-in-law Christie was clearing out her mom's sewing room, she passed one some quilting cottons to me. These are not normally colours that I am drawn to, but there were well coordinated so I wanted to see what I could come up with.
After a little head scratching and math, I decided that a rail fence block would make the fabric go the furthest. I decided on the pinwheel layout. I used the Soho pantograph as I like how it mimicked the circles in two of the fabric prints.
I had just enough of the striped fabric for the binding which I love. This quilt has headed up north to be part of the Quilts for Wildfire Relief.
