Fading Charms x 3

These three charming quilts were made by Reneta.  She is on a mission to tame her 2" squares and has challenged herself to make 10 of these in 2026.  The pattern is called Fading Charms and is a free tutorial from Wedding Dress Blue.

Reneta left the quilting choices in my hands.  I added the Cinnamon Swirl pantograph to the one with the navy background.

This sunny yellow one received the Plush pantogrpah.

And the peachy pink one got the Pretty Posies pantograph.

A white background looks nice on a scrap quilt, but I do love these more unique backgrounds.  They give the quilts their own personality.

Pretty Posies

When Wendy pulled this quilt out of her bag my first thought was that it totally wasn't her style.  She loves batiks as much as I do so this was certainly a departure.  Wendy started this top in a class a number of years back decided it was high time that she finished it.

The Pretty Posies pantograph seemed to be a good fit and we added a little pizzazz with the thread selection.

We opted for Magnifico 2116 - Desert Flower from Superior.  It really added some fun.

Wendy added a mix of cotton and Fireside on the back.  It worked out okay, but it is definitely a little more stressful to keep the stitches consistent going from fireside to cotton in a single panto row.

Modern Art

Liane has become very fond of the three yard quilt patterns from the Fabric Cafe and here is another example.  This one is called Modern Art.

Liane made one this one her own by adding a fourth fabric to the mix with the lilac coloured squares.

Liane chose the Pretty Posies pantograph which carries on the motif in her focus fabric.

Pretty Posies

Mary brought this pretty purple, yellow and floral quilt that she intends to donate to a cause close to her heart.

Mary selected the Pretty Posies pantograph to continue the theme, and it looks absolutely fabulous on the cozy flannel backing.

Pine Falls

Deb brought this pretty quilt that she is making for a special little girl in her life.  The pattern is from The Blanket Statement and is called Pine Falls.  Deb made the front of the quilt and then decided to use the leftovers to piece her backing.

Deb also embroidered a label right onto the backing before she brought it to me.

Deb knew she wanted a flowery pantograph and Pretty Posies fit the bill perfectly.

Two for Liane

Liane brought two sweet little quilts.  The first is a 3 yard quilt pattern from The Fabric Cafe called Dazzle that is from "The Magic of 3 yard Quilts" book.

Liane selected the Pretty Posies pantograph and I think it compliments the print in her fabric perfectly.

Next is this pretty in pink quilt.  The pattern is called Zip It from the Missouri Star Quilt Company.  Liane selected the Pieces of My Heart pantograph for a sweet finish.
