Humble and Heartfelt

Judy brought this stunning quilt.  The pattern is called Humble and Heartfelt by Kim Diehl.  The fabrics are from the Gratitude and Grace collection from Henry Glass fabrics.

Judy selected the Feathered Curls pantograph.  I don't use this pantograph all that often, but it really felt like the perfect fit for this quilt.

Judy treated herself to more fabric from the collection for the backing which really completes it perfectly.

Hexagon Log Cabin

Myrna sent this lovely hexagon log cabin quilt for some finishing.

Myrna selected the Feathered Curls pantograph and I used a blue grey thread that didn't totally disappear into the border fabric.

I love the texture coming thorugh on the back.

Double Diamonds Bargello

This lovely Double Diamond Bargello quilt was brought to me by Ann.  She collected the fabrics over the last 10 years and was thrilled to get all her treasures made into a quilt for her.  It is hard to get a true appreciation for the size of this King Size quilt as it tops my queen size bed.

Ann chose the Feather Curl pantograph for the quilting and i used a shiny Magnifico thread in a muted purple color. It is such a pretty finish for this quilt.

The quilting looks lovely on the flannel backing as well, but let me warm you a king size bargello with a flannel back does not make for a light quilt!  Ann is going to stay fit making her bed everyday.....

Mabel

This fresh and lovely quilt was made by Shelly.  The pattern is called "Mabel" and the fabric collection is called "Nest" both by Lella Boutique.

Shelly thought she might send this quilt off to her mom, and wanted a pretty pattern so she selected the "Feathered Curls" panto.  I really like how it look on the front and on the "use up all the scraps" backing!
