MPQ Mystery

Val made this quilt as part of a mystery quilt sew along offered through the Manitoba Prairie Quilters earlier this year.  The pattern was designed by one of the MPQ members - Kathy Paul.

Val chose the Windswept pantograph.  I love the movement that it adds across the sharp lines of the piecing.  We used a charcoal grey thread that doesn't draw attention away the great piecing and beautiful colours of the fabric.

Have you ever participated in a mystery quilt project?  I have done a few- some I’ve loved, some I’ve changed to make me happier.  It can be fun if you get the opportunity.
