Jolly Holiday

Shelly is ready for the holidays with this fun quilt.  The pattern is called Jolly Holiday from Lella Boutique.

Shelly chose the Advent pantograph.  She used a great red for the backing.

Reneta's Ornaments

This is Reneta's Ornament quilt.  Reneta was part of two block swap groups last year.  She loved making ornament blocks for me so much  (See my quilt in my previous post), that she decided to request those blocks from her second swap group.   It is amazing how the light and dark backgrounds change the look of the quilts.

Reneta used friendship stars in her sashing which are very sweet.  I added the Advent pantograph consisting of Christmas trees and stars.  I used a shiny gold thread to add a little pop in the quilting.

So many fun fussy cut centres to enjoy!

Wooded Whimsy

Cindy made this fun Wooded Whimsy quilt.  The pattern is from Coriander Quilts and features the designer's Holliberry fabric collection.

This quilt provided the first opportunity for me to use the Advent pantograph.    So many of the Christmas themed pantographs are very dense and often just too much for the quilt top.  This one has nice flow and density and I think it will be quite popular.

The rich forest green fireside backing was just the perfect compliment to this cozy Christmas quilt!
